Ladbrokes: England 16/1 to meet Australia in World Cup final - England also out to 5/1 to win tournament with Indi 7/2 favourites

ENGLAND ARE 16/1 with Ladbrokes to meet Australia at the final of the Cricket World Cup.

The bookies have reacted to the series loss by pushing England out to 5/1 (from 4/1) for the World Cup which is the same price about an Australia victory. India remain the 7/2 market leaders with Pakistan also trimmed to 8/1 (from 10/1) after coming in in for some support. England are now also the joint 9/4 second favourites to win Group B with South Africa behind India at 7/4. Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: "We've pushed England out for the World Cup after the disappointing series result which was also bad news for us as England were friendless in the match betting throughout. The tournament remains wide open however and Pakistan are the latest side to come in for some support."
