Ladbrokes: England 1/2 for 2013 Ashes. How will they fare against number one ranked India?

ENGLAND ARE odds-on to win the 2013 Ashes on home soil with Ladbrokes.

The bookies quote England at just 1/2 to win the next series with Australia 3/1 chances and a draw priced up at 9/2.

In what could be a bumper year for English cricket it's 5/1 England remain unbeaten in Test Matches throughout 2011 and the same price they win the ODI World Cup meaning they hold the three most prestigious trophies in the sport. Sri Lanka (3 matches) and India (4 matches) are the next opponents and the price about an England clean sweep is 66/1.

Either side look capable of winning the T20 series as it's 9/4 each with a draw the 11/10 favourite. Equally the first game looks a close call as each side earns a 5/6 quote.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: "The future looks bright for the England cricket team. After what looks to be a very close T20 series and an exciting ODI campaign the world's number one ranked test side stand in the way and England can stamp their authority on world cricket with a series win."
