KP to Lord it over Pakistan?

Kevin Pietersen is 7/2 with Ladbrokes to end his run of twenty-three innings without a test hundred at the Home of Cricket.

The former captain has hit four centuries in ten tests at HQ, and would love to register a ton before heading off to Australia.

Meanwhile, England openers Andrew Strauss and Alistair Cook are on the brink of becoming England`s most prolific opening partnership, needing just 54 more runs required to pass Jack Hobbs and Herbert Sutcliffe, who amassed 3249 runs in the 1920s. The pair are 6/4 to notch the runs in the first innings, and 1/2 that they break the record at some point in the match.

Pakistan are 4/1 to beat England and square the series, but England remain 8/11 favourites to win, with the draw at 9/4.

David Williams of Ladbrokes, said: "KP hasn`t been in the best of touch lately but he loves batting at Lord`s. The stage could be set for some more Pietersen magic."
