IPL: Pune Warriors vs Deccan Chargers Odds and Betting Preview

DY Patel Stadium, Navi Mumbai - The Pune Warriors host the Deccan Chargers this evening needing victory to keep their slim play-off chances alive. Pune are 4/6 with Paddy Power to win their third consecutive IPL match. The Chargers are 6/4 on Betfair to win only their fifth game of the season.

The Warriors are currently eight in the IPL points table and will need to win their final three IPL games to stand any chance of reaching the play-off places. Pune look a much improved side recently and beat Deccan by six wickets in Hyderabad in their last fixture. The addition of Mitchell Marsh to the bowling attack has been key to the Warriors recent turnaround with the Austalian picking up four wickets and the man of the match award in his third start of Pune's IPL campaign against Deccan last week. Kumar Sangakkara, who has scored 333 runs for Deccan this IPL, is the favourite to top score for his side at a best price of 10/3 with Stan James. South African all-rounder Jean Paul Duminy is 9/2 with Boylesports to be Deccan's top man. Shikar Dhawan, who has averaged around 25 runs a game this year, is an 11/2 chance in the market with Blue Square.

The Chargers are evens with Paddy Power to produce the highest opening partnership whilst Pune are 19/20 with bet365 to hit the most sixes in the match.
