Why Use Neteller from India?
The benefits of using an electronic wallet such as NETELLER for online betting are threefold:
- Nearly all online bookmakers offer NETELLER payment facilities to Indian residents.
- NETELLER customers do not need to enter their credit card or bank details at multiple online bookmakers.
- Using NETELLER you can keep your betting transactions separate from your bank account and any nosy bank managers or government employees.
Transferring money from your Indian bank account to an electronic wallet such as NETELLER is straightforward and takes little time.
How to open and fund a Neteller account
Step 1: Opening your Neteller account
Click on the NETELLER link and click the Join Now button. Fill in the form as usual and continue to the deposit options when you are ready.
Step 2: Initiating your Local Bank Deposit transaction
Before going to the bank to deposit the funds, you will need to notify NETELLER of the transaction. You can do this by initiating a Local Bank Deposit in your account. Sign in to your NETELLER account and choose the Deposit tab. Select “Make a deposit” beside the Local Bank option.
Step 3: Choosing your country, currency and amount
The “Local Bank Transfer for India” deposit option only supports deposits in Indian Rupee (INR) from a bank in India so you must select the country India and the currency INR. If your account currency is not INR, please enter the amount as if you were depositing in your wallet currency (e.g. 100 if your account is in USD, not 5,035 or so INR) and we will convert the amount into INR in the next step.
Step 4: Confirm your transaction
Verify the deposit details. If your account is in a currency other than INR, you will see the converted INR amount beside “Total deposit amount”. Ensure you deposit this exact amount when you make your deposit to the designated NETELLER account.
Step 5: Complete the transaction
Make note of the following information for the bank that you choose:
• Bank account holder/beneficiary
• Bank address (for e-banking, NEFT and RTGS)
• Bank account number
• Deposit amount (Ensure this is the exact amount indicated in your transaction details)

You are now ready to proceed to the next step:
Depositing at a Bank
If you wish to deposit cash from your local bank account in India to NETELLER, you will need an account with ICICI Bank or ABN AMRO Bank.
First you will need to finish the deposit procedure at NETELLER. On the Deposit page choose the third option – Local Bank Deposit – and click on ‘Make a deposit’.
On the next page choose your country as India, your currency as INR and enter the amount you wish to deposit in rupees. Make a note of the exact amount you wish to deposit as you will need to know that precise amount when you later visit your ICICI Bank or ABN AMRO Bank.
Next, verify your deposit details on NETELLER by pressing Continue. You will now be shown a small list of important bank account information under ‘Receiving account’ that you should write down and keep in a safe place.
NETELLER have now been informed of your intention to deposit money via your local bank account. Next you must pop along to your local ICICI Bank or ABN AMRO Bank and make the actual deposit.
For a cash or cheque deposit, fill out a deposit slip with the following details relevant to your bank:
ICICI Bank
- Bank account holder: PacNet Services (India) Private Ltd
- Bank account number: 039305001751
- Deposit amount: (must be the exact amount you entered earlier at NETELLER)
- Your 12 digit NETELLER account ID: (Write the number on any empty space of the deposit slip)
ABN AMRO Bank
- Bank account holder: PacNet Services (India) Private Ltd
- Bank account number: 1220481
- Deposit amount: (must be the exact amount you entered earlier at NETELLER)
- Your 12 digit NETELLER account ID: (Write the number on any empty space of the deposit slip)
Deposit the cash or cheque at the bank counter. You will receive a stamped deposit slip. Scan or take a color photo of the deposit slip and email it to: INRdeposits@neteller.com.
If NETELLER do not receive the scanned deposit slip from you or the deposit slip is not stamped, they will not be able to credit the funds to your NETELLER account.
That’s it. You’re ready to go. All you need to do now is go to an online bookmaker such as bet365, Ladbrokes or Betfair and place your bet using their NETELLER payment option.
