Cricket World Cup: Sri Lanka vs Kenya Odds and Betting Preview

PREMADASA STADIUM, COLOMBO - Sri Lanka are heavy favourites for their ICC World Cup clash tomorrow morning against Kenya in Colombo, India. Coral and Ladbrokes are offering the best price of 1/50 (bet £1 to win £50) to beat Kenya, who have been demolished by Pakistan and New Zealand in the two games they have played.

Kenya are a massive 64/1 on Betfair to win the game, after a 205-run defeat to Pakistan in their second game and a 10-wicket defeat in their first to New Zealand. Sri Lanka on the other hand beat Canada by 210 runs in their first game, a side at about the same level as Kenya. In their second game Sri Lanka suffered a narrow defeat to Pakistan by 11 runs.

Sri Lanka scored one more six (2) than Pakistan in that game, but scored just as many (2 again) as minnows Canada in their heavy defeat of the North Americans. Skybet are offering 8/15 that Sri Lanka score the most sixes in Tuesday morning's game, and 10/3 for a tie in the number of sixes. Kenya were outscored by New Zealand 2-0 in the sixes stakes, but drew 3-3 with Pakistan, and bet365 are offering 5/1 for the Africans to score the most maximums.

Mahela Jayawardena was Sri Lanka's top scorer with an impressive century against Canada, while wicket-keeper Chamara Silva hit a top-score of 57 against Pakistan. Thisara Perera took a joint-top number of wickets (2 - same as Muralitharan) against Pakistan, and Perera is also 7/2 with most firms.
