Two giants of the cricketing world clash today, as Australia and India meet in their first Super Eights match. Both teams came through their group matches easily and they are the two most fancied teams to win the tournament, and a win will put either team in a good position to qualify for the semi-finals.

Australia are favourites for the match, priced at 4/5 (bet $50 to make $40 profit). India are best priced at 13/10 on Betfair, which looks to be good value. Most of India`s players are coming off the back of a successful season in the IPL, and their batting line up looks formidable.

Shane Watson is favourite to be top batsman for Australia, priced at 3/1 with Ladbrokes. David Warner is next, at 7/2, while Michael Clarke is at 11/2. The Hussey brothers, David and Mike, are both at 7/1 with totesport.

Gautam Gambhir is at the head of the market for India, priced at 10/3 on bet365. Murali Vijay is at 7/2, ahead of Suresh Raina, who is best priced at 4/1 with Betfred. Raina hit a fantastic century against South Africa, and was also the third top scorer in the IPL for the champions, the Chennai Super Kings.
